Feeling nuts, Channel 4
Nick Webb recently worked with Fulwell 73 editing the Channel 4 comedy special ‘Feeling Nuts’, a collaboration with the Check One Two campaign. A comedy special to help raise awareness of testicular cancer.
Check One Two was created by two sets of brothers Simon and Andrew Salter and Simon and Phil Tucker. They launched the movement after hearing the story of one mother’s loss of her son to testicular cancer at the age of 19, due to embarrassment and lack of knowledge. Check One Two aim to empower men worldwide with the positive message about staying in regular check with their testicles.
‘Feeling Nuts’ will be broadcast on October 19th and hosted by Jack Whitehall and friends. It’s set to be an evening full of surprise comedy pairings, some seriously awkward conversations and a host of challenges, whilst encouraging the nation to feel nuts.
The 90 min show is being produced by Fulwell 73 and Attention Seekers. It will be recorded in front of a live audience, many of whom have been involved in the social movement throughout the year. The event will take place at the Brooklyn Bowl at London’s 02 Arena.
The Check One Two campaign has already been seen up to 153,838, 967 times on Twitter and Instagram alone (data gathered by Brandwatch). Also a host of celebrities have joined the movement and are now spreading the message via the hastag #FEELINGNUTS.
The show will air alongside Channel 4’s Stand Up to Cancer Season.
