As an editor Aldo has worked on a wide number of short and long form projects for broadcast and digital. Aldo recently edited an episode of the landmark series Drugs Map of Britain and the Obs-doc City boy fight club for BBC3. For Viceland TV Aldo worked on the pilot episode of States of Undress, the documentary Road to Mosul and the series Politics of Food. For CNN international Aldo has edited a number of long form shows including cooking show Culinary Journeys, the award-winning environmental show Earth’s Frontiers and The Freedom Project: Trapped by Tradition – a documentary focusing on human trafficking in India.
As a director Aldo has had his shorts screened at many international festivals. His short film Lover won Best Short Film at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. Aldo’s screenplays have been short listed twice by Film London Pulse. Aldo’s first feature script was a winner at Screenwriting Goldmine Competition 2014. It was selected for the EU Media and BFI development scheme Babylon 2012.
