Daniel is an Editor whose career in TV and film goes back to the early 2000s. With an extensive background in audio-visual production studies, he has been involved in film, broadcast and advertising, motion graphics design and more recently a specialisation in documentary films.
In 2003 he moved to Singapore for 3 years to work in-house for Discovery Networks, Disney and MTV, editing promos and docs while developing his motion graphics design skills for several advertising agencies. Upon his return to Europe he edited documentaries, corporate and TV, later specialising in sports content for 3 years, editing and designing full time for FIFA, Champions League and broadcast news.
Since 2010 Daniel has been a freelance editor/motion graphics artist and has crafted more than 100 hours of TV content including documentaries and TV programmes such as “Live from Space”, which received the RTS award for Best Science and Natural History programme in 2015. Always an inspiring creative collaborator, Daniel has a strong command of narrative devices, pacing and sound design that truly moves, engages and exhilarates the viewer. This matches his refined aesthetic eye for a distinctive storytelling dramatic impact.
Daniel is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish but he is also able to converse in Portuguese and Catalan.
