Motion Graphic Designer
Olly is a motion designer who’s been working in the industry since 2012. Although mainly focused on motion design, in his spare time he does all sorts of other things – photography, paper mechanics, illustration and more – trying to make something every day and feel creativity as an integral part of his existence.
Having worked mostly as a freelancer, Olly has managed projects independently as well as larger jobs where he has been part of a team. He is proficient with the Adobe creative suite – particularly After Effects – and has a growing knowledge of Cinema 4D and skills with various external plugins such as the Trapcode Suite, Optical Flares and Element 3D.
Collaborating with teams of people and clients from various disciplines has given him a good understanding of the creative process, terminology and workflows when working with video and moving image. He is always looking to learn more and challenge himself.
Olly’s skill set is dynamic: he is experienced in projection mapping, directing live action and infographics for brands, TV titles and events, as illustrated in his selection of work. Clients include Glastonbury, Boomtown, BDH, Red Bull Studios, Sega, Smirnoff, Ernst and Young.
