Marco Jackson
Marco is a highly creative, versatile and imaginative editor with a flair for telling stories and conveying complex information in a clear, engaging fashion. Marco’s career started off in the mid 1990’s. He specialises in long form documentaries but has broad experience including factual, current affairs, presenter-led, observational, natural history, science, reality TV, drama, music & the arts.
He is comfortable working on Avid, Premiere Pro, FCP, Lightworks & DaVinci Resolve and has his own edit suite.
“Marco worked with me on two very different projects: one an engineering show for a US channel and the other an atmospheric historic true crime for the UK. He is that rare thing: someone who can work independently and brings ideas to the table, but also is collaborative. His editing is sensitive to both the needs of the commissioner and to the material, and his pacing and his storytelling are both excellent. I’m really looking forward to working with him again”.
