Amazon
Adam worked in-house with Amazon’s internal marketing team XCM on a short-term contract, over their busy Summer Prime Day and Q4 Winter holiday periods. Taking part in campaigns for their vast and varied eco-system of Music, Film, TV, Sports and of course, retail.
Main responsibilities were to design and create motion branded templates that could be used by business partners to promote special deal events. The goals of which were to look both fresh and new, but also feel on-brand.
There were also opportunities to create RND, of fully 3D and VFX concepts – that could be used in more specialist campaigns in the future. Once again attention grabbing and totally unique, but that were iconically linked and instantly recognisable to Amazon customers.

Adidas Power of 3
Adam the VFX and motion branding on a viral promo video for MLS, the American Soccer League – sponsored by Adidas and co-promoted by online publisher Soccer Bible.
Adam’s main task was to create dynamic energy elements based on each soccer teams logo, inspired by the Patronum entities from the Harry Potter franchise. Therefore being used as an abstract, metaphorical representation of hope and power in the advert
Famous players were filmed on a green-screen; which were composited in the foreground drawing the number 3 on the screen. The 3 was symbolic of the stripes with Adidas logo, as well as representing the launch date for the tournament itself. The voice-over narrative for the full campaign video talked about the power of 3, in terms of teamwork, collaboration and success.
Adam was also responsible for the keying, colour grading, compositing and endcard motion branding which brought many aspects of the larger filming and scripting teams work all together to form the final piece.
BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge
A fully graphical, 3D TV advert, created for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. Adam was responsible for all elements from design, to animation and compositing. Adam’s main inspiration came from the album artwork, which featured a studio light box with the station’s logo lit up. For the advert, he felt it would be effective to animate it moving to the music and displaying footage from each of the featured artists’ live performances.
Nissan Mobility
Nissan wished to create a number of explainer videos to be used online and at consumer events, that focused on education in regards to specific areas of Nissan cars and the wider ecosystem. The first of such was on the subject of mobility – using interactive apps and way finding software as an enhanced part of the Nissan experience.
Adam was responsible for all elements from design, to final animation. The main challenge was to make sure the video was both highly informative, as well as easily digestible – in terms of how it communicated information. A blend of literal narrative representation of features, were combined with more simplistic abstract elements – that were seamlessly transitioned between as part of a coherent visually branded creative.
