Meet Dawn Donohoe, a prolific motion graphics designer with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in infographic-led storytelling that transforms complex ideas into clear, engaging visual narratives.
Her work spans games, film, television, and corporate communication, combining design, animation, and visual clarity to create everything from brand films, title sequences, and animated infographics to trailers, broadcast graphics, and in-game content. In the games industry, she has contributed to titles including Harry Potter, Battlefield: Modern Combat, Monopoly, and the VR experience Shattered State, delivering cutscenes, UI, and marketing content.
Her work has been commissioned by a wide range of clients, including Reuters, Electronic Arts, Cartoon Network, Supermassive Games, Sky Sports, Citibank, BBC Worldwide, L’Oréal Garnier Paris, and The Body Shop.
She is fully insured and trusted to deliver high-quality motion graphics across diverse industries.
Highly proficient in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop, she also has strong working knowledge of Cinema 4D and Premiere Pro.

Dawn worked with Hannah Robinson from Palindromicals to create this title sequence for Edinburgh University’s new show In The Hot Seat.
Over the Bloody Moon
A taster of 6 videos created for Over the Bloody Moon. Supplied with just a Word document script and Voice Over, Dawn designed the storyboard and animated the videos to provide an engaging and informative content resource for OBM. The video has since been used in training sessions and shared with organisations such as Coca-Cola and Specsavers.
ITC EY Tax
Working with Ray Foley and Zara Hayden formerly of Atomized USA to create this video for EY tax. It turned out to be more editing and stock footage sourcing than Dawn’s usual motion graphics which made a refreshing change.

Police Spies Out of Lives (PSOOL) is a campaigning support group working to end the sexual and psychological abuse of campaigners and others by undercover police officers. Dawn conceptualised, storyboarded, and animated this video to spread awareness of the Uncover Policing Inquiry that began in 2022.

Dawn was tasked with bringing Gala Bingo’s still logo to life in 3D.

Dawn was tasked with bringing Sixteen By Nine’s still logo to life.
Sixteen by Nine is a unique strategic planning and buying media agency, with TV & video at its core.
Within the logo the orange stripe is the hero and instigator. The logo animation is about the format and the pixels which form a picture on a screen representing the multi format high resolution digital age in which we live.
Kerry Darlington: Eccentric Machines
Dawn was commissioned by renowned artist Kerry Darlington to bring a series of her beautiful paintings to life. To add an extra dimension for the opening of a new exhibition. This is ’Gastropod’ & ‘Beezyjet’.
The animation was created from a scan of the original artwork and using Photoshop and After Effects.
