Renowned for his instinctive storytelling, confident pacing and collaborative approach, he excels at finding the emotional heart of complex subjects.
His work spans investigative documentaries, true crime, science, history, sport and feature documentaries, with credits including Drive to Survive, 999: Critical Condition, Finding Mr Fox, The Man Who Played with Fire and the multi-award-winning feature documentary Freightened.
Drago edited two episodes of BBC Three’s Ashley Cain: Into the Danger Zone, which won Best Episodic Series at the 2026 True Crime Awards.
His work has received widespread industry recognition. The Man Who Played with Fire won the Rose d’Or for Best Documentary in 2023 and in the same year was shortlisted for Best History Documentary and Best Documentary Series at the 2023 Grierson Awards.
