SHAIKE Film Festival – Official Trailer
Following her first-place win in the 2026 SHAIKE Trailer Competition, Rosa Lykiardopoulos’ winning film has been chosen as the official trailer for this year’s SHAIKE Film Festival.
The trailer showcases the festival’s pioneering vision, where traditional and AI-assisted cinema compete side by side, judged by the same jury under the same criteria. The film will be screened at the world’s oldest cinema during the SHAIKE Film Festival in October 2026.
Directed by Rosa Lykiardopoulos.
Tales from the Underground
In the underground hum, everyone’s talking – inside their heads, under their breath, into phones that cut out halfway through. Thoughts collide and vanish as doors open and close: tiny flashes of humour, fear, boredom, and hope. It’s a moving portrait of the city’s secret language – the one spoken only between stops. Thoughts spill out – strange, funny, honest. And for a few stations, everyone is the main character.
Broccoligeddon 2: Glazed and Confused
When kids ditch junk food for greens, a crew of bitter sweets-led by Captain Crunch—plot a sticky comeback. Their plan? Turn broccoli into irresistible candy. But their sugary sabotage backfires, unleashing a wave of bloated, zombie-like broccoli monsters in a chaotic, retro-style supermarket showdown.
Broccoligeddon
A quiet town faces an unprecedented crisis when an army of evil, sentient broccolis invades, targeting kids who despise the vegetable. As the monstrous veggies terrorize the town, transforming it into a nightmarish landscape, hope seems lost. Amidst the mayhem, a young boy who loves his greens steps forward as an unlikely hero.
Winner: Best Director, Best Produced Short Script (AI International Film Festival 2024), Best Creative (AI Artist Festival Pekin 2024). Finalist (Metadisruption AI International Festival (UK)
Ark
A mysterious event rips open a Texas park, leaving behind a vast hole, strange radiation, and no clear explanation. As firefighter Liam descends into the darkness to rescue a child, he uncovers an ancient underground world tied to biblical myth — where something powerful has been awakened, and reality itself begins to fracture.
Carla the Cautious
Carla the Cautious is a darkly funny animated short about a woman whose mind turns every sniffle, twitch, or stomach rumble into a full-blown catastrophe. As her imagination spirals into dramatic visions of her own demise, she forgets to actually live – until a moment of clarity reminds her that fearing death too much can stop you from living at all.
Cod Save the Queen
A mockumentary series about a London council estate fighting to save its beloved chippy. From dodgy fundraisers to Lewis’s terrible GoFundMe campaign, everyone has a plan—none of them are good. But at least there’s always chips.
The 8th Day
Submission for the Runway Big Ad Contest.
The Curse of the Coconut Spirits
Rosa’s submission for the 3rd Edition of the Runway Gen:48 competition.
Shark Woman
Chaos erupts when a woman with a shark’s head surfaces at the local swimming pool, spreading panic and fear. With danger lurking, the town braces for the unexpected.
Reese The Smelly Cheese
Reese the Cheese, notorious for his overwhelming smell, is avoided by the other fridge inhabitants. As tension builds, an unexpected crisis strikes, forcing everyone to confront the very trait they despised. Could Reese’s pungency hold the key to their survival?
