Ross Cameron

Editor,

Ross has been a trailer Editor for the majority of his 10+ year career – and consistently in demand.  He trained up as an Editor through Channel 5’s internship programme (starting as a Creative Intern in 2013 and leaving as a Junior Editor in 2016). He was then at UKTV as a Junior Editor for 7 months, before joining ITV Creative in April 2017 as a Creative / Editor for almost 4 years. This role required Ross to write on campaigns and lead the creative on his projects, across a variety of genres including sport, drama, entertainment and comedy. After leaving ITV in Feb 2021, Ross was snapped up by Intermission Film, cutting trailers (including Channel 5’s ‘The Evolution of Black British Music’ and Ghostbusters: Afterlife).  He left in Nov 2022 to go freelance.

Ross is a great team player, flexible but always ready to challenge something creatively if he feels there’s a better way. He really cares about the end result. Technically proficient on Avid, he really considers the best approach and diligently executes. His editing experience has resulted in Ross developing a really strong grasp on story, and the ability to express narrative in a short amount of time. He’s also great at injecting energy and a sense of humour.

Having recently become freelance, Ross is sharpening his focus – prioritising long form editing bookings – with the intention of eventually editing documentaries, factual entertainment and reality. This is where his passion lies – and with Ross’s obvious talent and exemplary attitude, we’ve no doubt that he will build a very strong career within this area. Based in south London.
