Simon Ruben
Simon Ruben is an award-winning editor with 15 years of experience working across genres. He’s fast, creative and a very strong storyteller. We’ve worked together since the early days of Blueberry, and Simon is not only fantastic at what he does, but he’s also extremely proactive and approachable; perfect for client-facing projects!
Simon has edited many broadcast commercials (South Africa Tourism, IBM, Rolex, Air Malta), promos (BBC, Disney, National Geographic) and corporate films (including BT, M&C Saatchi, Mcdonalds and the Royal Opera House).
Simon also edits documentaries. Previous credits include ‘The World’s First Computer’ (BBC), ‘On the Ground with the Grenadier Guards’ (BBC), ‘Samia’s Wedding’ (Channel 4 News) and 48 Hong Kong & 48 Chad (Al Jazeera).
As a testament to his skills and personality, since 2007 Simon has also been designing and delivering highly popular storytelling and technical editing training courses for the Frontline Club. Simon’s main working tools are Adobe Premiere; After Effects and Final Cut Pro.
