Sophie Hurry
Sophie brings five years of professional experience across various editing roles, including Junior Editor, Assembly Editor, Assistant Editor, and Media Manager, specialising in on-location DIT at Clear Cut Group from 2019 to 2022. With a strong technical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail, she excels in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to the highest standards. Sophie’s recent endeavours involve tasks such as laying back programs to tape, capturing streams on location, and adeptly handling Adobe Premiere 4K anamorphic projects.
She has contributed to projects for prominent UK broadcasters and SVOD platforms, including BBC 1’s ‘Panorama,’ Channel 4’s ‘Hunted,’ Disney+’s ‘Ed Sheeran: The Sum of it All,’ ITV’s ‘I’m A Celebrity Get me out of Here: All Stars,’ and BBC Three’s ‘Boot Dreams: Now or Never.’ Sophie is also a talented experimental filmmaker, earning a First Class BA Film degree from Falmouth University, where she received the 2017 ‘Outstanding Practice’ Film award.
