Renowned for his mastery of tension and pacing, Whetham is a versatile storyteller, with a repertoire that spans feature-length documentaries, drama docs, social and historical events and natural history.
Notable films include “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck,” a feature documentary for Netflix based on the 2016 bestselling book, Whetham served as both co-writer and editor on this project. Additionally, he has edited compelling feature documentaries like “Arctic Drift: A Year on the Ice,” which won the Grierson Best Science Documentary award in 2022. As well as feature docs; “Sister of Mercy,” “Billion Dollar Heist,” and “Never Look Away.”
