Zach Ellams

Zach is an award-winning Motion Designer and Editor with over 15 years’ experience across film, branded content, animation and digital. Combining strong design instincts with storytelling and technical versatility, he is increasingly specialising in motion design that incorporates AI workflows and emerging creative technologies.

His work spans major brands and creative companies including Amazon, Unilever, Novo Nordisk, Nokia, BP and Hasbro. Zach won an EVCOM Award for Animation for his work on a film for Novo Nordisk, and was Compositor on a BFI short that went on to receive an BAFTA nomination. His documentary work includes creating graphics for feature film Dear Danny, the story of trans boxer Danny Baker and his journey from the prison system to finding purpose and community through boxing.

Zach’s creativity also extends beyond motion design. He co-created To My Daughter, My Gender Was Never Complicated, a graphic short published by The New York Times. With experience spanning commercial work, documentary and personal creative projects, Zach brings a distinctive combination of design, narrative thinking and experimentation to his work.
