Tom’s editing experience spans documentaries, specialist factual content, and entertainment. He is a fast, intuitive, and creative editor who is highly adaptable and story-driven. Technically astute, Tom excels in multiple formats, from bodycam blue light footage to single-camera observational documentaries to multi-camera studio fact-ent.
His background in production has equipped him with on-site skills, including shooting, technical assistance on rig shows, and contributing to development. Rising through the editing ranks has given him a comprehensive understanding of the entire program-making process. Tom frequently advises productions on workflows and technical options and serves on panels for BFE and Screenskills.
