The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan

Editors Guy and Ash worked closely with Greymatter Entertainment on this exciting docu-series for Netflix.

Produced by Greymatter Entertainment, in Mumbai, this 3 part Netflix documentary series explores the intense sibling rivalry between India and Pakistan – told through their shared obsession: cricket.

The docu-series is a saga of heroes and villains, high-stakes battles on the pitch, and the raw emotions that unite and divide millions. It’s about the passion, the politics, the fandom, and the face-offs that have shaped generations.

At the heart of the story are two cricketing legends—one from India, one from Pakistan—reliving the iconic moments that defined this fierce competition. Woven alongside is the gripping backdrop of political tensions, revealing how the rivalry extends far beyond the boundary lines.

Editing took place in Mumbai and through further collaboration with a post team in London consisting of; Francis Longhurst as Story Consultant, Ash Jenkins as Series Edit Producer, Guy Rahamim as Finishing Editor and Ali Qazi as Assistant Editor to help with the Hindi speaking sections and connection with the editing team in India.  London work took place at Remote Post – now The Bloomsbury Post House, an award winning boutique post production house founded by Ash Jenkins.

Guy shared his experience of working on the series; “Working with the Mumbai team was an absolute pleasure. Their passion for the game and the stories surrounding it was infectious. I’d like to believe that we brought a fresh perspective and helped shape the arching narrative of the series for a global Netflix audience.“
