Immersive takes viewers on a journey, guided by oceanographer Thibaut Barreyre, to the hydrothermal vents of the deep ocean, revealing the mysterious life that thrives there. These vent systems are the result of volcanic and seismic activity and the Earth’s natural heat-loss processes. However, these fragile ecosystems are at risk from deep-sea mining.
