‘Al Fayed: Predator at Harrods’, edited by Ash Jenkins, wins ‘Scoop of The Year’ at the RTS Television Journalism Awards
The winners for the RTS Television Journalism Awards have been announced and we’re delighted to share that the BBC film ‘Al Fayed: Predator at Harrods’, edited by Ash Jenkins, had been nominated in two categories and won ‘Scoop of the Year’
“The judges said this ‘meticulously put together’ report was ‘genuinely history changing’. A technique of hearing many women describe the same experience, their repeated descriptions of Al Fayed’s playbook, was extremely powerful.
A ‘hugely important piece of work’, this report had the impact of encouraging more women to come forward. The judges felt this incredibly well-produced report was a ‘true exclusive’.”
