Paul is a highly experienced, award-winning editor who has cut numerous high-end documentaries, feature-docs, drama-docs, and a wide variety of short-form content. Paul is particularly keen on arts, music and politics and is adept at making complex subjects accessible and entertaining. He is extremely creative and passionate about his craft, working swiftly and with great attention to detail.
For the BBC, his recent work includes an episode of Arena on the British artist Maggi Hambling and a feature doc on the legendary Studio 17 – birthplace of Jamaican Reggae. For Netflix he cut an episode of the undercover series The Traffickers and for ITV, two films in Stephen Fry’s: “Big Fat Adventure” travel series.
Skilled in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere and FCP, Paul is strong on structure, story-telling and writing and loves cutting to music. He is highly organized and enjoys collaborating but is also happy to work on his own.
Paul has worked for most of the UK’s leading production companies and made films for all major international broadcasters.
