Oscar Barany

Oscar is an Animator, Motion Designer and Visual Artist from London. Always striving to add character and fun to the projects he works on, he specialises in making work that will be enjoyable for the audience, regardless of the medium or destination.

A versatile artist who enjoys pushing the boundaries of where his animated characters can go, he has created a wide range of work including his recent comedic animated short film “Thirsty”, currently showing at a number of film festivals. 

Oscar has worked across multiple disciplines such as educational videos for Leeds Museum and visual art with a touring band. His large selection of clients include BBC, Leeds City Council, Cat Flap Media, Mugen, Tight Lines, LAMIA, Zeitgeist.

Samantha Havard

Samantha is an experienced motion graphics designer with a demonstrated history of working in broadcast and social media advertising. She prides herself on being a 2D and 3D generalist, highly competent in After Effects and Cinema 4D. Sam is also passionate about character animation and typographic animation, as well as photo real rendering in Arnold.

She enjoys working with clients from conception to final output and is confident in storyboarding, creating assets, animation and editing. Skilled in using Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Audition, as well as plugins such as 3D element, Particular and Duik.

Previous clients include Apple, Bose, Kellogg’s, Nestle, Vodafone, Heinz, Mcdonalds, etc. Creating content for TV, Online, Internal and corporate film.

Rado Bogasch

Rado is a flexible and competent motion graphic designer working with tight deadlines, producing innovate solution from sketch to final delivery. He has a lot of experience in working with 2D and 3D animation, having created motion graphics for broadcast, live events and online content.

Proficient in using Cinema4D, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop, Rado has learned what is necessary to produce work that succeeds aesthetically and conceptually and is a passionate artist with the desire to succeed.

 

Bobb Strongman

Bobb provides a range of animation and post production services including CG modelling and animation, compositing, visual effects, motion graphics and editing. He has worked for many prominent European broadcasters, as well as corporate clients and film makers.

Broadcast and production clients include: Aardman Animations, BBC, BT Sport, Cartoon Network, Citigroup, Disney, Diva, Diverse Productions, ESPN, Eurosport, HIT Entertainment, ITV, NBC Universal, M&C Saatchi, Smoke & Mirrors and Sky Television.

 

Nurbanu Asena

Nurbanu is a versatile and creative Artist / Director with a background in animation, illustration and documentary filmmaking.

She has expertise in delivering illustration, art direction, storyboarding, animation and editing services for editorial, commercial and social media works.

She likes to work on witty and colourful projects that are in touch with psychology, society, children and empowerment. She has worked for Lego, Science Museum, GE, Turkcell, Qatar Museum and Abu Dhabi Expo 2020.

She is an ex-New Yorker and Istanbulite but currently lives in London.

Matthew Lee

Matthew is an EMMY award winning Motion Graphics Designer and Animation Director. He has been working in the field of Motion Graphics for the last 10 years. Matthew has  many years professional industry experience including the role of head of Motion Graphics at BAFTA award winning studio Jellyfish Pictures.

Matthew is used to working in a hands on role focusing equally on design and animation aspects. He is confident working in multiple roles from intial ideas generation, liasing with the client, storyboarding, design, animation and direction.

James Zwadlo

A multi-disciplinary Director and Designer, after working many years in the North of England, James began freelancing in 2012, following 2 years at The Bank where he worked on commercials and high-end brand films for the likes of Versace, Peroni and Grolsch. With an eye for traditional graphic design, he is a seasoned campaigner whose experience spans a wide range of projects and clients, including many of London’s best post-houses such as The Mill, MPC and Glassworks.

Fast and accurate, capable of working to the tightest of deadlines, James can create graphics from scratch and loves having the opportunity to demonstrate his versatility across 2D and 3D animation. A truly innovative designer with a thorough understanding of the industry, his skills include motion graphics, design, editing, illustration, motion photo manipulation and sound design.

His enthusiasm for showcasing high-end brands and his passion for creating beautiful unique work in Cinema 4D make him stand out from the crowd. He is always training up on new kit and software, hungry for learning new techniques to enhance his already solid skill set. James is proficient in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Premiere, Vue Infinite & Vray.

Holly Vear

An experienced freelance Video Editor and Animator working in the digital marketing and advertising industry, Holly’s strengths come from her ability to work dynamically, blending both animation and editing.

Skilled in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator, Holly is a generalist who brings her unique perspective to her projects. She considers herself a creative-solutions driven editor and is confident being thrown in the deep end, helping to generate ideas that yield results.

Clients include IMG, CNN, National Geographic, Getty Images, Arcadia and Diageo.

Hayley Akins

Hayley has worked as a motion designer and animator since 2008 and currently freelances with high profile clients including Google, YouTube, UNICEF, First Utility and Mr Porter.

Previous to freelancing Hayley worked at the creative agency Across the Pond, the in-house video agency at Google. Hayley was their Senior Motion Designer and Lead Animator on many large scale projects, she was relied upon to be the brand advisor for Google videos making sure her team followed Google’s strict brand guidelines.

Hayley has also directed a number of animated music videos for UK and US bands and is currently working on her own animated short film.

Neil Emmanuel

Neil Emmanuel has drawn his way into many roles as a motion graphic designer, storyboard artist, cartoonist / comic artist, children’s book artist, painter and photographer.

As the principle 2D motion graphics artist on the award-winning show “Time Team”, Britain’s greatest historical TV show, Neil was responsible for creating rich and informative content for over a decade.

Since going freelance in 2010 he worked for many channels; BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Nat Geo, History Channel, as well as production companies and films, using his artistic skills to create illustrated and animated motion graphics, storyboards and concept work. Neil spent a few years exploring the world of Event Scribing where he also mixed and learned from other talented artists and facilitators in a highly creative and dynamic environment.

Continually pushing his creative expression, Neil has  completed his first historical children’s book with West Midlands History called “Hunting for History: Saxon Gold,” which is available on Amazon and and a mask making course with the Florentine master Agostino Dessi. Neil also teaches Storyboarding at Media Training LTD.

Battlecat! Studios

Founded by London-based motion designer Philip Davies, Battlecat! Studios specialises in custom-made digital effects and illustrated short films.

Philip’s background is in traditional design and illustration and in his practice he like to explore the intersection between these disciplines and new technologies. Philip has eight years of experience working with film makers, production companies, musicians, artists and charities. He has produced Motion Graphics, Kinetic Typography, Animated Shorts, After Effects Character Rigs, Illustrative VFX and Multimedia Installations for everything from experimental live visuals to branded television content.

Daniele Baiardini

Hailing from Rome, Daniele is a Motion Designer, Animator and Editor who completed a 3-year course in Comic Drawing before discovering his passion for animation, learning the basics as assistant 2D animator. Moving to Turin to attend the Italian National Film School’s Animation Department, he studied different film-related topics and covered all areas of animation developing both 2D and 3D skills.

Daniele’s key specialisation is After Effects, ranging in the vastitude of the software: from compositing to VFX, from tracking to Motion Graphics, rigging and animating characters. He is technically proficient using the whole Adobe package and Mocha.

Along his technical skills he also has excellent artistic skills painting and drawing with acrylic colours or Pantone markers or pastels and has been doing video installations. Clients he’s been working for include M&C Saatchi, WhiteCoat Productions, Prime Focus Film.

Rosa Lykiardopoulos

Rosa is a Motion Graphic Designer and Animator but also works as a director and children’s book author and illustrator. She began by studying film direction in Buenos Aires to then find her complete self in the animation field. Her work has been featured in several books and magazines and it was included in the Luerzers Archive “200 Best Illustrators Worldwide 2011/2012”.

Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Poser – she is also fluent in French, Spanish and with basic Italian. Rosa is a charm to work with and a great designer with her own unique style, whose previous clients include Motorola, Pepsi, Sainsbury’s, Homebase, BT, Nicorette, Guinness, Airwaves, FCUK, EMAP, Granite Records and PIMP Magazine.

Alistair Moncur

A self taught animator, whilst studying Interaction Design at university Alistair was able to impressively build a broad client list. With a strong passion and understanding of both the physical and digital world, his dedicated drive shows through in his work.

As well as being able to create animations, Alistair is capable of getting hands-on. With great building skills, he has spent a while working at Random International, constructing and assembling the studio’s latest project “Blur”. Always intrigued by the new, the next project and the big idea, he likes to challenge and push himself further, fully engaging himself into every piece he works on.

Proficient in Adobe CS, Cinema 4D and Lightwave, he also has practical skills such as physical prototyping, visual model-making, vinyl cutting & 3D printing, soldering, letterpress, lino cutting, screen printing and cooking with insects. Recent Clients include ITV, Unit9, ICA, Nexus Productions, This Is Global, Honda, British Airways, McDonalds, Royal Academy of Arts, Maynard Design, MAP Project Office.

Lily Baker

Originally from Australia, Lily is a London-based Motion Graphics Animator and video editor with a background in advertising and consulting.

Highly skilled in After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator; she can create her own assets and characters. Lily has worked on a range of projects including promos, kinetic typography pieces, explainers, character animations and live footage editing.

Fast, diligent, resourceful and very good at providing creative solutions, Lily is flexible, takes feedback well and is brilliant at working alone or with a team to find the best way to realise a client’s brief.

Recent clients include Nomadic Films, Fort Studios, Social Superstore, Steak Digital.

Harry Fisher

Harry is a D&AD commended Motion Graphics Designer and Editor with a degree in Digital Media from Leeds College of Art and Design.

His wide skill set includes Motion Graphics Design / Video Editing / Animation / VFX / Post-Production / Beauty Retouch / Compositing / Tracking / Roto / Keying.

Previous to becoming freelance in 2016, Harry worked as Post-Production Specialist at Burberry where he quickly climbed the ladder to become a Senior Motion Designer/Editor. He was responsible for a huge variety of tasks ranging from editing, motion graphics and animation work, beauty retouch, compositing and with the addition of the OOH creative output.

He’s great at following a project through from concept through to delivery, bringing the vision to life in a creative way.
