Prince Andrew & The Epstein Email Scandal
Shortlisted for: On Screen Outstanding Documentary Film – Linear
Produced by Mentorn Media for Channel 5
Editors on this documentary: Karla Guimaraes, Colin Moxon, and Zoran Trajkovic.
This documentary world-exclusive shows that the sensational private email was sent after a meeting which Prince Andrew claimed was his last contact with Epstein. Even more disturbingly, Andrew’s email was sent the day after a damaging picture was published of him with Epstein’s alleged 17-year-old sex-trafficking victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre. Andrew says to Epstein: “It would seem that we are in this together”.
Zoran gave us a peek behind the scenes:
Prince Andrew & The Epstein Email Scandal was a highly collaborative documentary, with five editors working across the programme to shape a cohesive and compelling story. Communication and teamwork were essential throughout the process, particularly in maintaining a consistent tone and pacing across the five parts.
A key part of the edit involved working through a significant amount of archive material and identifying the strongest editorial approach. Musical and structural decisions played an important role in shaping the film, ensuring the storytelling felt measured, engaging, and appropriate to the subject matter.
During the edit, my experience as both an editor and director allowed me to contribute across both the editorial and scripting process, helping support continuity as filming progressed.
It was a rewarding project to be part of, and the programme came together thanks to a talented, hardworking, and collaborative team.

Ashley Cain: Into the Danger Zone
Shortlisted for: On Screen: Episodic series – New
Produced by True North in association with House of Panthera for BBC Three
Dragomir Bajalica edited this documentary miniseries
The 6×60-minute series, which premiered in early 2025, follows the former footballer visiting dangerous locations globally. Ashley Cain enters a different world with different rules, in some of the most brutal, intense places to be a young man.
Dragomir about working on the show:
Working on Ashley Cain: Into the Danger Zone was genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had in my career.
I edited two of the six episodes – Sweden and Colombia – and the whole process was a real pleasure. The team at True North Productions were incredibly supportive and gave us the time needed to properly craft each episode. We also had great creative freedom, including access to whatever music libraries the edit producer and I felt suited the films best. Ashley and the crew shot just the right amount of rushes – enough material to build rich, engaging programmes without overshooting unnecessarily.
Honestly, after 30 years in the editing saddle, it stands out as one of the most enjoyable productions I’ve worked on.
